But there’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking." - Mitch Albom

Time Out

Created my first Olioboard. I wouldn't mind being tied to the desk all day. Not at all.

Feminine but Playful

Sharing with you these dresses from Charlotte Ronson's Ready-To-Wear Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I just love the mix of stripes,  hues and detailed collars. Feminine but playful.

Images are from Vogue UK.

365 Days of Summer

Heima though an Icelandic term is a Filipino home and lifestyle store. I can't get enough of their fun and quirky pieces. Reminds of a lazy afternoon, of running barefoot, feasting on summer fruits and listening idly to an old record.

It's like owning grandma's chic pieces. I just wanted to hop on their Newoldbike in a sundress and flowers on my hair and sing:

Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Just like me, they long to be close to you.

Why do stars fall down from the sky every time you walk by? Just like me, they long to be, close to you.

Photos are from their  lovely website and mydesignfolder. Life is indeed 365 days of summer!

Dear B,

It’s been two weeks since you were gone and I’m terribly missing you. It’s weekend again and I have nothing better to do than just loiter around.  I have one confession to make. Please, please don’t get mad. I took the path you warned me about – the one we thought lead to the woods. It’s not as sinister as you assumed. There were no wild animals or crazy hermits. It was just a path leading to a stream and beyond that is a plantation of Immortelle. We should go there once you’re back. We will lie under the shelter of trees and stuff ourselves crazy with  my new recipe, Arroz a la Valenciana. I am on my second trial though. The rice was too soft the first time. For sure, I have perfected it by the time you’re back. We will soak our feet in the clear running water until our toes get wrinkly. And I will shower you with kisses until Venus decides to appear in the evening sky.

I am making tomato jam today. I will save some for you.

Until we meet again.

Lots of Love,
K

P.S. Some Fleur Chérie candles would be nice.
